RAWALPINDI: Army Chief General Raheel Sharif visited the National Counter-Terrorism Training Centre (NCTC) on Thursday and witnessed the Pakistan-China Joint Special Forces Exercise.
According to the military’s media wing – Inter Services Public Relations – the two-week exercise – “YOUYI-VI 2016” – is focused on countering terrorism and sharing field combat experiences.
General Raheel – while speaking on the occasion – congratulated the participants of the exercise for displaying high levels of professionalism and combat skills. He emphasised that such exercises would consolidate the mutual relationship with Chinese armed forces and will help us to eliminate terrorism from the region.
“We are sharing our experiences with the world for the benefit of humanity and as an obligation towards international peace”, the Pakistan’s army chief added.
