WAH CANTT: The eighth death anniversary of POF blasts victims was observed in Wah Cantt with dignity and honour on Monday. On August 21, 2008, 71 POF Employees were killed and 196 were injured in two suicide attacks at POF gates. This day is observed in POF every year and a special ceremony was held in order to pay homage victims. POF Board, Chairman Lt Gen Omar Mahmood Hayawast was the Chief Guest on this occasion. Addressing the crowd, POF Board chairman said that we salute to the pious souls of shuhadas who laid down their lives for motherland. Pakistan Armed Forces are committed to eliminate these elements and soon we will eliminate the miscreants, he added. Earlier, POF Board Chairman laid a wreath at Yadgar- e-Shuhada and contingent of army presented salute at Yadgar-e- Shuhada.
