FAISALABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on Tuesday said that if the party is elected to power in 2018 general elections, it will provide suitable environment to investors in the country.
Speaking at a textile conference, Khan said that no politician in PTI-administered Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (KP) is allowed to operate businesses and that if the party succeeds in establishing a federal government in elections this year, a similar framework would be applied countrywide.
The PTI chief further added that citizens are investing in companies overseas due to corruption and lack of accountability in the country.
Khan also said that he is aware of the difficulties faced by industrialists and that if PTI were to establish a federal government, rights of industrialists and employees will be brought up on every forum.
